MADURO & CURIEL'S BANK AGREED TO PAY CLIENT A. Wederfoort, sinds 2022.
Ronald A. Wederfoort
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to address a matter of significant concern regarding the unresolved issue concerning the release of funds belonging to Mr. Ronald A. Wederfoort, a former employee of Maduro & Curiel's Bank.
As you are aware, Mr. Wederfoort has been awaiting the release of his funds since 2022. It was agreed upon by Maduro & Curiel's Bank that Mr. Wederfoort would be entitled to receive his funds, including his inheritance, pension, and other withheld refunds accumulated over years of employment as an IT professional, along with damages for the ordeal he has endured.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the bank, including visits to the HR Department, there has been a glaring lack of response or action from your end in releasing the blocked funds to Banco Di Caribe, as instructed in previous requests.
As a result of the ongoing delay and lack of cooperation, Mr. Wederfoort has been compelled to escalate this issue. He had filed a case through the SOAW "Social Development, Labor, and Welfare (Case# -10372) for the millions of dollars that were unjustly blocked by Maduro & Curiel's Bank. This case has already been settled, and the bank has committed to releasing Mr. Wederfoort's funds.
Furthermore, I engaged with the Security Compliance Office of Scotia Bank Canada, where I diligently explained the situation. They assured me that they would conduct an investigation and revert to me with their findings. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received any communication from them regarding this matter.
Furthermore, I wish to inform you that the Curacao and Netherlands Courts of Justice, as well as the Public Prosecution Ministry, possess all the necessary evidence of transactions dating back to February 15, 2019. These transactions, initiated from RBC Royal Canada Bank for the amount of 1.4 million dollars, remain blocked within your system.
In light of the urgency and gravity of this situation, I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this matter. Failure to do so will leave Mr. Wederfoort with no choice but to pursue further legal and public avenues to ensure the release of his rightful funds.
I trust that you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take prompt steps to resolve it. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further clarification or information regarding this issue.
Sincerely,
Ronald A, Wederfoort
